Traffic rules and road safety awareness programme

Pass It On Trust organised a Traffic Rules and Road Safety Awareness Programme for the students of Bishop Sargent High School. A traffic inspector visited the school and guided the students on the importance of following traffic rules, safe road practices, pedestrian safety and responsible behaviour on the road.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about road safety and encourage them to become responsible and safety-conscious members of the community.

Objectives

1. To create awareness among students about traffic rules and road safety.
2. To educate students about safe practices while walking, cycling, travelling and crossing roads.
3. To promote pedestrian safety and responsible behaviour on public roads.
4. To help students understand the importance of obeying traffic signals, signs and regulations.
5. To encourage responsible and disciplined road behaviour among young people.
6. To reduce the risk of road accidents by developing safety-conscious habits among students.
7. To promote civic responsibility and community safety through education and awareness.
